Frank started to play the piano at the age of seven, which he learned from his father, and he started singing at the age of ten. While growing up he hawked food on the streets to help his mother make ends meet and later his mother helped him with the money to get some studio equipment to become a professional singer.

He became a member of the Christ Embassy church and he joined the church choir. While singing in the choir, he learned how to sing professionally, mix music, and control the sound systems professionally. He also picked up more music-related skills while he worked with Sinach, another popular gospel artist, and a member of the Christ Embassy also.
