2021 Lexus Cars and SUVs: Latest Lexus Lineup For 2020/2021

2021 Lexus Vehicles– Lexus is the luxury subdivision of the popular Toyota automaker. All Lexus models are meticulously designed for either the driving enthusiast or the leisure-oriented and all carry an air of genuine exclusivity. Lexus’s latest models deliver plenty of value overall, and anyone that can afford a new Lexus would do well to opt for it.

Lexus enters 2021 with a comprehensive portfolio of V-8 sports cars, luxury sedans, and crossover SUVs of any size. The focus this year centres on sedans, with a redesign of the entry-level, IS compact, a refresh of the LS full-size sedan, and all-wheel-drive variants of the ES mid-size sedan.

There are various types of Lexus vehicles for prospective buyers to choose from, ranging from the more track-focused nameplates to more luxurious and functional commuters. This includes:

The Lexus Vehicles ranges extensive and comprises a variety of different types of cars to meet just about every taste and need. So, without further ado, here’s the latest 2020/2021 Lexus Vehicles lineup.

2021 Lexus LX

The 2021 Lexus LX SUV pairs a 5.7-liter V8 that generates 403 lb-ft of torque at low rpm with an advanced eight-speed paddle-shift transmission. It touts the largest engine of any Lexus vehicle. NATURALLY ASPIRATED 5.7-LITER V8. OFF-ROAD CAPABILITIES. 7,000-LB TOWING CAPACITY. The Lexus LX rolls into 2021 with a few changes.

A new Sport package is available on the three-row model, which adds unique exterior styling, 21-inch wheels, and either an Eminent White Pearl, Black Onyx, or Atomic Silver paint job. Also available on the three-row model is the Inspiration Series #2 package, which blacks out most of the LX’s exterior trim and adds 21-inch black wheels, smoked lenses for the exterior lighting elements, black badging, and Rioja Red semi-aniline leather upholstery.

2021 Lexus ES

 The 2021 Lexus ES is now an even more serious competitor as Toyota’s luxury brand gets the balls to slap an AWD system on their hot seller. The only reason the ES has AWD now is due to its brother, the Avalon, also getting this system. The ES AWD, unfortunately, seems to be only available in the abysmal ES 250 spec. Like the AWD versions of the Toyota Camry and Avalon, this ES variant is powered by a four-cylinder engine with 203 hp.

2021 Lexus NX

Lexus makes some of the sharpest-looking cars in the automobile industry. The fact that it’s underpinned by the engineering and the reliability form of Toyota makes it a pretty sweet package. Their sporty and compact NX 300 has been slated for a refreshed appearance in 2021 but Lexus has decided to stick to the already cool package that the NX 300 already is and add in a new splash of colour.

2021 Lexus RX

2021 Lexus RX – The 2020 model After undergoing a thorough refresh, the Lexus RX L crossover SUV enters the 2021 model year with minimal changes. Still, it’s not completely devoid of differences. Lexus introduced the Black Line Special Edition package for the F Sport models. It comes with black exterior accents, black 20-inch wheels, blue stitching for the leather interior, and either an Ultra White or Grecian Water (medium blue) paint job. More notably, ordering the Black Line Special Edition package also adds a two-piece set of Zero Halliburton luggage. Elsewhere, the RX receives a new interior colour Glazed Caramel which replaces Noble Brown. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and power-folding exterior mirrors are all now standard. A wireless smartphone charging pad is now optional and the Performance package has been rechristened as the Handling package.

2021 Lexus LS

The 2021 Lexus LS gets some big updates for its first facelift so let’s dive right in. Upfront is a new triple beam adaptive LED headlights, a revised bumper, and grille design, and a very similar rear end. Outside overall is a new paint option called Gin-ei Luster applied using a special sonic process.

2021 Lexus GX

2021 Lexus GX 460 – Lexus has made few changes to its ageing GX SUV for 2021, but it has added a Premium Plus trim between the mid-range Premium and top-spec Luxury models. It comes standard with a power-operated third-row of seats and a Mark Levinson premium stereo system. The GX’s infotainment system now offers Amazon Alexa compatibility. A heated wood-and-leather steering wheel is now optional on the Premium and Premium Plus models. The 2021 Lexus GX is an excellent off-road vehicle, but it doesn’t excel at much else. The GX does not have an overall score or ranking because it has not been fully crashed test.

2020 Lexus GS

The 2020 Lexus GS 350 comes in two main versions: base and F Sport. Both use a 3.5-litre V6 (311 horsepower, 280 lb-ft of torque), an eight-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive. All-wheel is optional, but it comes with a six-speed automatic instead of an eight-speed.

Standard equipment for the base GS 350 with rear-wheel drive includes 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery. You also get a navigation system, a 12.3-inch display screen, and a 12-speaker sound system. Advanced driving aids include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and mitigation, a blind-spot monitor, and pre-collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking.

2021 Lexus IS

 The 2021 Lexus IS is not ALL new and instead uses a heavily re-engineered N-platform as the current IS uses, it means a stiffer and sportier ride, specifically 20% lighter springs, 18% lighter A-Arms, and 17% lighter stabilizer bars. But regardless of this and the old powertrains, the new in-person shots look. STUNNING especially in red! Upfront is new L-shaped LED lights with the L part above the headlight beams. Outback is a full-width LED light bar and a truck shape similar to the new ES though much more sporty.

Conclusion

Lexus no longer plays favourite to Apple CarPlay because most of 2021 models now come with Android Auto compatibility. Several models add blind-spot monitors to the comprehensive suite of standard safety features.  With three sedans, three sports cars, and five SUVs in the Lexus stable, something had to go for 2021 and it is the GS mid-size sedan.
