A Phoenix police officer pulled over a driverless Waymo car for driving into oncoming traffic. The Waymo vehicle, reportedly navigating through inconsistent construction signage, had veered into oncoming traffic near 7th Avenue and Osborn Road.
The incident, which lasted approximately one minute, ended with the driverless car moving to a nearby parking lot after the officer’s intervention.
