Nedu Wazobia goes by the full name of Chinedu Ani Emmanuel. He was born on the 5th of August 1982 in Kaduna, Northern Nigeria, even though his origin is Enugu state, South-East Nigeria.

Nedu Wazobia did his University education at Madonna University in Elele Okija, Anambra State, where he studied Accountancy. He did his NYSC in Jigawa state at a radio station. After completing NYSC, he moved to Abuja to work as a site manager. After two years of working there, he relocated to Lagos to fulfil his long-term dream of being a broadcaster and an entertainer.
Nedu was married to Uzoamaka Ohiri in 2013, and their marriage was dissolved in 2021 following a messy online divorce process. However, the marriage was blessed with two daughters. On January 9th, 2023, Nedu Wazobia unveiled his new lover on his Instagram page.
