Overview of the Turkish Police Car Collection
Before now, the Turkish Police had a rather okay car collection. However, the department’s car collection has been upgraded ever since cars totalling 23 were taken away from a drug trafficker identified as Hakan Ayik. These cars include the Bentley Continental GT and Porsche Taycan, Ferrari 458, Volkswagen Golf R, Range Rover Sport, and the Mercedes-Benz GLS, with the total value of these cars estimated to be around $3.5 million (N3.5 Billion).

- The Bentley Continental GT
The Bentley Continental GT is a vehicle that exudes both luxury and great performance. It’s equipped with some of the most state-of-the-art devices and technological features that make it stand out. Under the hood is either a V-8 or W-12 engine, both supplemented by twin turbochargers that make 542 horses and a 6.0-litre W-12 engine produces 626 horsepower in non-Speed models and can motivate a coupe to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds.
- Porsche Taycan
The Porsche Taycan is a performance vehicle that’s capable of reaching 60 mph in only 2.4 seconds. Nigerian Police Vs. Turkish: Who Has the Most Exotic Car Collection?
Without even putting a lot of thought into it, it’s evident that the Turkish Police now have a more exotic car collection compared to the Nigerian Police. Sports and luxury cars like the Bentley Continental, Mercedes GLS, Range Rover, Porsche, and Ferrari, in no way can be compared to the Toyota Hilux, Sienna, Corolla, Camry, and Nissan Sentra.
These vehicles used by the Nigerian Police are already not luxury cars. While most of them like the Corolla and Camry have great fuel economy, in terms of performance, which is essential for a police vehicle, they do not compete favourably with either a Ferrari, Porsche or even the Mercedes GLS.
