The Swedish government is taking tech innovation to the next level, and they are not taking any of that lightly. The government is making plans to build the world’s first-ever EV in the country, that’ll enable EVs to charge while driving on the road.

What does this mean for EVs? It means continuous power and never having to worry about recharging your vehicle while you’re still driving.

This innovative project by the Swedish government is aimed to eliminate the worry EV car owners have about running out of power and transforming transportation. The effort to achieve this is being led by the Swedish Transport Administration, as they have chosen a 13-mile stretch for the electric road, with plans to make it available to the public by 2026.

All that to say, by 2026, the world’s first-ever EV road will become functional in Sweden.
