It’s a rarity that a car actually costs less than it did the year before. If that car gets actual upgrades, the chances of this happening are even scanter. Yet, the 2021 Toyota Camry Hybrid will cost less than the 2020 model despite a few key enhancements.

Unveiled earlier this year and expected to enter production this month, the 2021 Toyota Camry brings a few upgrades for the new model year and small visual revisions that help set the trim levels apart.

The mid-size saloon is expected to start arriving at dealers shortly after assembly commences, but there is still no word on pricing.

While the official Toyota website still lists the 2020 Camry, We early reported that the 2021 Camry Hybrid will start at ₦12 million – ₦15.1 million, This would make it ₦633k more affordable than the outgoing 2020 model, whereas the SE grade will be ₦620k cheaper, at ₦13.7 million. The XLE’s pricing is understood to drop by ₦258k to ₦15.3 million, whereas the new XSE will launch from ₦15.5 million.
