The 80.1-meter support yacht U-81, originally built as a different type of ship, is now a superyacht support vessel and a billionaire’s dream!
The yacht was initially constructed in Vietnam in 2015 but was put on hold due to the oil industry crisis. In 2019, Damen Shipyards marketed the vessel for completion, and it recently arrived in Palma after undergoing extensive work, including the addition of a large helipad and basketball court.
The new owner worked closely with Azure Yacht Design to meet specific requirements for the vessel’s exterior design and engineering.
