Skyewise Group, one of Nigeria’s top automakers, launched a brand-new showroom this past weekend in Abuja’s posh Maitama neighbourhood, selling over N400 million in high-end vehicles on the spot.

There was a lot of pomp and splendour during the unveiling event, as well as attendance from prominent members of the automobile sector, top corporate executives, politically exposed individuals, and top-rated celebrities.

Just before the official ribbon cutting, Amb. Usman Sarki, chairman of Skyewise Group, thanked the company’s clients for their devotion and consistency over the years and assured them that the opening of the showroom was part of renewed efforts to serve them even better.

He said that the management had just convened a board meeting to consider how to reward patronage with discounts, convenient payment terms, and other perks.

The Group Managing Director of the firm, Dr Elvis Abuyere, voiced worry that the high cost of automobiles in Nigeria may be attributed in part to several preventable issues facing the auto sector in the nation.

For example, he mentioned the industry’s struggles with high customs charges, expensive imports, and deteriorating infrastructure.

Dr Abuyere said the company has vehicle stands throughout Abuja and around the nation that sell brands not seen in the showroom, encouraging those with low and intermediate incomes to take advantage of the company’s selection.

So that average Nigerians can afford a respectable means of mobility, he encouraged the federal government to undertake a downward revision of customs tariffs on the import of vehicles.

He said that the poor condition of Nigerian roads also affects the longevity of some of the brands in its showroom, and he called for more investment in infrastructure, particularly highways.

He encouraged people and businesses to choose Skyewise Group as their go-to brand by saying that the company will continue to maintain the respect and reliability for which it is recognized.

Visitors enjoyed browsing the many products displayed in the elegant showroom.

In his speech, he praised the company’s partners, employees, and friends for their exceptional commitment to the company’s expansion, with specific mention given to prominent firms in the industry such as Coscharis Motors, Kefiano Motors, etc.

Ibidapo Lawal, CEO of Neveah Limited; Seun Okinbaloye, political correspondent for Channels Television; Amb. Stephanie Nnadi, CEO of One Percent International Management; Patrick Obi-Akatchak, MD/CEO of Gadol Financial Services LTD; Dr Okiti, MD of BusinessDay; and a host of others all made resounding comments about Skyewise Automobile’s longstanding business integrity.

Entertainment-wise, guests were impressed by performances from seasoned comedians including Koboko Master, Ben 200, MC Papi, Hot Boy, and more.
