The brand behind the supercar is the Australian company KTM, known for its dirt bikes. Now, the brand has a supercar to offer with the X-Bow GT-XR.

The supercar is priced at $282,000 and will be one of the coolest road-going race cars.

The supercar has an electric jet fighter-style canopy instead of cars’ usual doors.

When you want to go inside, the entire roof and windshield lift up from the car’s body to allow you to enter.

Even though the car does not look like something that can be used for daily driving, KTM notes that it’s been designed for daily driving.

The supercar has been given a 96-litre fuel tank, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and a 9cm (3.5-inch) nose lift system. Still, it has the performance level of a supercar than a daily driving car.

It has a 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine from Audi R3; it makes 500hp and 581Nm.

It weighs 1130kg, which is lighter than many hatchback cars. The lightweight is thanks to its carbon fibre monocoque and tubular steel construction.

It offers 0-100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and can hit a top speed of 280km/h (174mph).

It also rides on Sachs suspension and forged OZ Racing wheels.

Inside, its removable carbon fibre steering wheel gives off a race car vibe.

The instrument cluster is also inside the wheel, so you’ll feel like you’re in an F1 race when you drive it around.

Only 100 units of the X-Bow model are assembled by hand each year by a small team at KTM.

The car has only seven versions, including the GT-XR, making them an incredibly rare sight to find on the road.
