A recent funny video that’s been circulating the internet is that of a Nigerian man who lived in Canada. In the video, the man announces that he bought a new model of a Hyundai car abroad. He says that if he had bought the same vehicle in Nigeria, many security agencies would be after him.

The car the man shows off in the video is the 2022 Hyundai Elantra that he bought.

He jokingly says that if he had bought this same 2022 model car in Nigeria, security agencies like the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) would not have let him rest.

He also added that to make matters worse, soldiers and an IG squad among many others would have come looking for him.

Many Nigerians who have since seen the TikTok video congratulated him for living in a saner country. Others also support what he’s said about Nigeria.

In Nigeria today, because of how rampant fraud has become, the line between honest living and fraud has been blurred.

Many Nigerians, especially young people making a decent living are immediately flagged by security agencies as fraud especially when they are found driving expensive cars.
