The Toyota Matrix officially referred to as the Toyota Corolla Matrix, was a compact hatchback manufactured by Toyota Motor. It was introduced in 2002 as a 2003 model and was a result of a joint venture between Toyota and General Motors. It was discontinued on August 5, 2013, due to its declining sales and no plans were made to replace it. It has good cabin utility, acceleration of the 2.4-litre engine, cornering performance, dashboard fit and finish with enough backseat roominess, although it has a number of disadvantages such as no front-seat comfort, unsteady air-conditioning controls, little rear visibility, and rough suspension, it is overall a good car.
