The Lagos state police command has recovered sixteen different cars from different locations in the state. These vehicles are of different types and models, and the police are yet to identify if they were stolen or abandoned.
The command is therefore informing various Lagos residents looking for their missing vehicles to come to the police station with relevant documents to identify and claim the car. The information also warns those looking for their cars that fail to report within 14 days that the cars will be auctioned.
The four locations these cars are located are;

- Adekunle Division, Yaba
- Epe Division
- Sagamu Division, Ikorodu
- Lion Building Division, Lagos
The police say that at the Adekunle Division, there is a Toyota bus with registration number KTU 874 XJ; a Toyota Carina with plate number KE 339 KJA; a Volkswagen bus with number XV 533 LND; a Hyundai car with the number EKY 907 WG; a Ford Jeep with the number, GCE 456 BT, and a Camry with number LSR 953 AE.
The Epe Division has a Mercedes Benz SUV ML 430 with the number EPE 160 DQ; a Toyota Camry with the number EPE 166 AC; a Mercedes Benz car with the number BEN 879 JL, and a Toyota Picnic with number GGE 751 AT.
At the Sagamu Road Division, there’s a Toyota Avensis car with the number LND 323; a Mitsubishi car with the number EP 831 FSR; a Toyota Camry car with the number JJJ 996 GN; a Toyota Previa bus with the number TA 916 AAA, and a Mazda car with the number, EH 785 GCE.
The Lion Building Division, Lagos, has a minibus popularly known as Korope.
