Her debut album Xola Moya Wam’ was released in 2020, containing two successful singles “Xola Moya wam” and “Bayabuza”.
She matriculated at Ukusa High School, later enrolling at Havatech College, obtaining an Information Technology degree.
After moving from home to pursue a career in music, she worked mostly as a backing singer for more than fifteen years. She worked with South African artists, including Deborah Fraser, Zahara, Lundi Tyamara, and Nhlanhla Nciza. The years of being a backup singer prepared her for the stardom that she now enjoys.
She was signed by Ganyani Entertainment, providing vocals for songs including “NTO”, “Jabulile”, and “Emazulwini”, which received a nomination for Record of the Year at the SAMA awards. As she did not own the songs, she was not permitted to perform them without the consent of the label.
Having signed a record deal with Open Mic Productions, she gained worldwide popularity after working with Master KG on his 2019 hit single “Jerusalema” and later remixed by Burna Boy, which debuted #1 on Billboard Music charts. The hit single was her big break which brought her into the limelight.

Nomcebo Zikode Cars
This fast-rising star has the following cars in her garage.
- Range Rover Velar
This is her most recent car which was purchased in May 2022.
The 2022 Range Rover Velar is Land Rover’s style-focused compact SUV, and it also earns its place alongside its luxurious brethren with a high-class ambience. The base engine is a 247-hp turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder that is well behaved enough but struggles to move the Velar’s substantial heft.
The Velar has a very simple interior, rendered largely from horizontal lines and bold rectilinear forms. The materials used throughout are high quality and deployed in interesting ways. For the door trim, instead of using a spear of wood or carbon fibre inlaid into the upper part of the door panels, Land Rover adds the owner’s choice of wood or metal into the section of the door between the upper and lower panels.
The Velar’s generally boxy shape and visually pleasing rear overhang—bodywork that extends behind the rear wheels—combine to swallow more carry-on suitcases than its immediate competitors with its rear seats up or folded. We fit 10 of our carry-ons behind the rear seats and 23 with all seats folded.
This SUV costs Nomcebo $61,500.
- BMW 3 SERIES
Nomcebo bought this car in 2021 while cashing out on the money and newfound fame from ‘Jerusalema’.
The German brand, BMW offers two phenomenal gas engines–a 255-hp four-cylinder and a 382-hp straight-six–that are as quick as they are refined.
Inside, the 3 has a modernised design complete with excellent materials and impressive build quality. Nothing feels cheap inside the 3-series, and its controls are well placed. BMW also improved outward visibility, the standard sport seats are well-bolstered and supportive, and they offer extensive adjustment so it’s easy to get comfortable.
The 3-series has a big trunk with an available power-operated lid. With 17 cubic feet of cargo space, the gas-powered sedan can fit six carry-on suitcases back there and 17 total with the rear row folded.
Nomcebo bought a brand new 3 Series which costs $42,245.
CONCLUSION
Although Nomcebo’s cars aren’t so fascinating when compared to other artists, she still has an enviable garage which is costly.
