Apart from Innoson motors, there is another vehicle manufacturing plant that has entered Enugu to begin operations.
This company has also been praised by the Enugu state government who commended their resilience in setting up a business in the current harsh Nigerian economic climate.
The company stated that it has acquired land to begin operation in the state while it waits for the arrival of its equipment from China.
There’s no telling that within a matter of time, the company is going to get several recognitions like Innoson, even though that will require them time to cultivate.
The name of this new company is Ingrace Motors. The company has also been praised by the Enugu government for promoting indigenously made vehicles in Nigeria.
Chinedu Onu, the Chief Executive Officer of Ingrace Motors while displaying the company’s brand, donated one of the vehicles to the Enugu State government recently for them to assess the car’s quality, flexibility and strength.
According to a Guardian report, the state government congratulated the company for demonstrating a dogged spirit despite the harsh business climate in Nigeria.
The Secretary to the state government, Simon Otuanya, praised the company’s vision, which he says is in line with the state government’s policy of promoting the safety of lives and property.
He also thanked the company, Ingrace Motors for the donation and informed the fim that the state government will come up with policies to foster its growth and achieve its vision in the interest of Enugu State.
The Ingrace Motors CEO has also told the Enugu state government that the company has gotten a license from the Nigerian government to assemble vehicles in the country, also highlighting that they are into partnership with Chinese companies.
The CEO also added that the company has gotten about 600 plots of land at Ezimo for the Assembly plant and made payment for all the equipment.
