A crazy new electric vehicle in town, the Aehra SUV, is becoming a major competitor for the Tesla Model X.

One of the first things you’ll recognize about this car is the crazy doors. The front and rear doors open vertically but use two different mechanisms.

These doors make it much easier to get in and out of the car, giving it a crazy look. Aehra calls the car’s doors “elytra-like.”

The car is made in Italy and is designed to be as aerodynamically efficient as possible.

The car’s curved windshield seamlessly integrates into the roof, which sweeps down to the tailgate.

The pointy front section serves a dual purpose: it helps to optimize the drag coefficient and also helps manage the airflow to keep the batteries cool.

Concerning the batteries, the brand has not yet revealed details about the powertrain. However, it is definitely going to compete with the Model X in terms of performance and range.

The company is looking into launching in 2025 and has a production output of at least 20,000 SUVs yearly.

The price of the car is also expected to start from $160,000 upwards. That’s about ₦‎129,000,000.
