In a video shared on his Instagram page a few days ago, the Nigerian singer Buju (BNXN) and the winner of 2022 Headies’ next-rated artists promoted his new song while showing off his brand-new Bentley gift and other vehicles in his garage.
In his caption, the singer writes:
“Heard we number 1 in the country. Grateful for all the love and support so always. Grateful to everyone that made this a success.”
The singer was referring to his latest single, Gwagwalada featuring Seyi Vibez and Kizz Daniel. The song was released on the 16th of February, and it’s already topping the chart as the #1 song in Nigeria.
In the video, the singer shows a series of cars in his garage—his brand new Bentley Bentayga gift, a Mercedes Benz, and several other luxury cars.
The singer emerged winner of the Bentley gift after he won the 15th edition of the Headies’ next-rated category held in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
After winning the Bentley, in a funny acceptance speech, he begged the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to help him ship the vehicle back to Nigeria. He noted that the money to ship the car to Lagos was too expensive, and he could not afford it, as he appealed to the Governor.
