The Dubai Police Force has added a new McLaren Artura supercar to their already prestigious fleet of patrol vehicles surpassing Nigeria Police’s fleet, a move in line with their strategic partnership with McLaren Dubai.
This hybrid supercar, known for its impressive performance, can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just three seconds and reach a top speed of 330 kph, all while being the most fuel-efficient McLaren produced to date with CO2 emissions of just 104g/km.
The McLaren Artura is a hybrid supercar produced by a British manufacturer since 2022. Although it’s quite expensive, the Dubai Police Department can afford it since they are accustomed to using the most expensive luxury and performance car models in the world.
This latest addition to their fleet will be deployed in popular tourist destinations like Downtown and Jumeirah. The cost of the McLaren Artura bought by Dubai Police is reportedly over N321 million.
According to Lt Gen Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, “The McLaren Artura is an excellent example of state-of-the-art technology and exceptional performance in vehicles deployed by Dubai’s police officers in their mission to ensure public safety.”
