Dj Kaywise Biography And Early Life
DJ Kaywise whose real name is Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, was born on 4th August 1992. Although a native of Osun State, he was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria where he attended his primary and secondary school education. It is reported that he is studying Business Administration at the University of Lagos, Yaba.

Growing up in Lagos, DJ Kaywise began to develop a passion for music. He first began with being a Disc Jockey, then a record producer. His exceptional talent helped him make a breakthrough in 2010 when he released ‘Emergency’. ‘Emergency ‘ mixtape broke into the mixtape market in Alaba market in Lagos, since then DJ Kaywise has gained prominence in the music industry. He has performed on several stages across Nigeria, alongside other greats such as DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Xclusive, DJ Spinall and DJ Neptune to mention a few.
In 2012, DJ Kaywise released his debut single titled ‘hangover’ featuring Dammy Krane and Yung 6ix. He has released singles with famous Nigerian music artists like Mayorkun, Naira Marley, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Vector, Ice Prince and many more. Willing to train more wannabe DJs, he started Kaywise Academy in 2019. So far, he has worked with prestigious organizations Nigezie, UNILAG FM, Afro Music Pop and MTV Base.
DJ Kaywise is the host of the popular street concert titled ‘Joor Concert.’ He hosted the maiden edition in 2016, while the fifth edition was held in Lagos in January 2020. The concert has had thousands of Nigerians in attendance since its inception in 2016. The Joor Concert has been hosted in different cities across the country and has had two editions in London and Dubai respectively.
