Dino Melaye is a Nigerian celebrity politician, a Senator, and was a member of the 8th Nigerian National Assembly, representing the Kogi West Senatorial district. Dino is a member of the People’s Democratic Party. He was the Chairman Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. And briefly the Senate Committee Chairman on Aviation in Nigeria.
Dino Melaye was a member of the House of Representatives representing the Kabba/Ijumu federal constituency. In the 2015 Senatorial election, he was elected a member of the Senate of Nigeria from the Kogi-West.
In 2020, the former Kogi-West lawmaker declared he would rather spend money collecting automobiles than spend money on cocaine, homosexuals, Melaye said this in a post on Sunday while reacting to criticisms from musician, Speed Darlington.

Homosexuals spend so much on same sex; some on babalawos (witch doctors); some hide their money in Switzerland while some bury ego (money) and some spend on cocaine. I am happy.
