This video that appeared online shows the moment the Mercedes MBUX voice assistant threw shades at the BMW vehicle.
In the video, the owner of the Mercedes says to the voice assistant: “Hello Mercedes, what do you think about BMW?” The MBUX voice assistant immediately replied, saying: “Same as you do. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be sitting here.”
Immediately, the car owner bursts out laughing as the MBUX voice assistant shades BMW cars.
There’s been an ongoing cold war between Mercedes and BMW cars. Many compare BMW to the Mercedes car brand. However, car owners believe that the Mercedes is more efficient and has greater performance compared to BMW cars.
In a country like Nigeria, it’s a risky business to own a BMW car as its wiring is underneath the vehicle, and due to the nature of Nigerian roads, BMW owners are prone to developing issues with their cars. Also, there are only a handful of BMW mechanics in Nigeria, so finding one to repair your BMW is a challenge.
