- A hand-written application letter requesting a customized plate number, indicating the preferred number or name to be written on the plate.
- An attestation letter and a purchase receipt, if the car is brand new.
- Relevant shipping documents (if the car was imported).
- A national (Nigerian) means of personal identification like a national identity card, driver’s license, permanent voter’s card, or international passport. Any of the listed documents will do, as far as it contains your means of identification.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Tax identification number.
- Approved insurance papers.
- A document showing the proof of ownership of the vehicle.
- A car insurance policy number.
