With the Charger and Challenger hitting their final years come 2023, Dodge is throwing everything into them and now, you can get a Challenger Convertible, while it won’t be done through the factory, buyers will have the option have their car undergo a special conversion, certified by Dodge, to a convertible.
The car retains its factory warranty on all non-modified parts. The convertible components are warrantied for three years or 36,000 miles.
Six new versions of the pair are set to be introduced in the coming weeks with a seventh debuting at the SEMA auto show in Las Vegas in November.

No details on any of them have been released, but Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said the seventh will make history, suggesting it could replace the 808-hp Dodge Challenger SRT Demon as the most powerful internal combustion engine muscle car ever made.
The whole process happens before the delivery of the car too. But it comes at a $25,999 extra charge on top of the challenger you buy. Interested buyers visit their local Dodge dealer and place an order for a new Challenger, either in R/T, R/T Scat Pack, or SRT Hellcat trim. The dealership then selects an expedited shipping option to Drop Top Customs where the conversion process takes place. The car will ship directly from Dodge’s Brampton Assembly Plant to the Florida-based shop for its upfit.
