It is no doubt that Lexus is already a prominent car manufacturing brand, even though they are just a department in a bigger car manufacturing brand, Toyota, and they are specialized in the making of luxury cars. It is unarguable that the Lexus brand has stamped its name on the hearts of Nigerian auto lovers, and this doesn’t come as a surprise. For a car to be widely accepted as the Lexus is in Nigeria, it has to have some qualities. All those qualities can be summarized in that the car must have appealing looks,  be very durable, and fuel-efficient. And Lexus has duly delivered these three things in their ES models. As a matter of fact, the ES series is one of the top bestselling series in Nigeria.

The ES300 series was first introduced in 1992. The sedan quickly got a lot of heads turned in its direction with its V6 engine that ensured efficiency, high performance, and pitch-perfect handling. In 2003, the ES300 was discontinued. The discontinuation, however, was not to be an end to the ES series as the series lived on in the new ES330.

Lexus ES330 also featured the same V6 engines as the ES300. However, if there was no improvement or an upgrade, you can be sure that Lexus would have probably failed with this series. Fortunately, the ES330 was a significant upgrade from the ES300. It had better performances, more power, and better handling. But just like its predecessor, the ES300, it was discontinued in 2007.

Once again, the discontinuation only meant that Lexus wanted to start with a new generation of the ES series that would seamlessly quench the ever-growing thirsts of their loyal customers. Hence, the ES350 was born. The latest of the ES series that you will find around today is the ES350 series. This latest model comes with many improved features in power, performance, handling, safety features, and even technology features.

The 12-year reign of the ES300 model was a good one. Although it was not a dominant model at that time, it was still so popular that it could hold its own pretty well among its competitors. The ES300 was divided into three generations: three generations of consistent excellence in engine performance and handling. Of all these three generations, none was ever picked out for not being spacious enough, not being comfortable enough, or not being affordable enough.

The reputation of the ES series only got better with the amazing features that came with the ES300. Some of these features include the V6 engine, the classy interior, moon roof, power-adjustable front seats, and climate control among others.

With the many features that the ES300 already had, many were already waiting to see how the next model, ES330, could be better than the ES300. Lexus did not disappoint. To put it simply, the ES330 model ate the ES300 model for lunch. All the features of the ES300 were present in the ES330, only that they were really improved.

The same V6 engine was sported, but this one had a smoother performance and an automatic transmission. Despite all the improvements, however, the standard already set by the ES300 model was really very high after all. The ES330 model couldn’t do much to improve on the driving experience, and so it couldn’t offer much in terms of driving excitement. As a result, Lexus was quick to look to the future by introducing the ES350 model in 2007.
