Chukwuemeka Frodd Okoye popularly BBNaija Frodd is a former Big Brother housemate who emerged as the 2nd Runner-Up in the 2019 Big Brother Naija TV Reality Show tagged Pepper Dem Gang. For the 2023 BBNaija All-Stars season, the reality TV star has returned as one of the housemates contesting for a cash prize of N120 million.

BBNaija Frodd Biography

Chukwuemeka Okoye, popularly known as Frodd, was born on February 4th, 199. Although he resides in Lagos State, he hails from Anambra State in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria. He completed his First School Leaving, West African Senior School Certificate, and his Bachelor’s Degree in Anambra State, where he graduated from Nnamdi Azikwe University.

Frodd is described as a soft-spoken investment adviser and sales executive. He asserts that he earned the moniker “Frodd” because he was young and unusual. Frodd, the nickname he goes by, is short for Fresh and Odd.

The reality TV star notes that he values his family above everything else, which is why he lists paying for his mother’s surgery as one of his biggest life achievements.

While in the BBNaija house in 2019, he stated that nothing would ever convince him to leave Big Brother, and even if he won a million dollars, he would continue to play since “the experience can never be bought.” However, he left as the second runner-up.

In February 2023, Frodd got married to his long-time girlfriend Chioma, and currently, his wife is pregnant. It was seen in a video that Frodd’s wife (Chioma) couldn’t hold the joy after seeing her husband on TV. She screamed for joy as she moved closer to get a good look at her husband on screen.

Frodd started his career as a sales executive and investment banker in Lagos before he got into the Big Brother Naija house in 2019. He rose to fame after being selected to live in the BBnaija 2019 house. Frodd BBN had always wanted to take part in BBnaija because he thought that the experience was something that could not be purchased.

The young sales professional and investment consultant had a fantastic experience in the BBnaija house in 2019 as he emerged as the second runner-up. Since then, his popularity has grown significantly.

Entering the Big Brother Naija house in 2019, he noted that with the  BBnaija prize, he plans to launch his fashion brand and an NGO for his mother. However, Frodd is back to Season 8, All Stars Edition of Big Brother Naija 2023, as one of the housemates contesting for N120 million.

However, before returning for the 2023 BBNaija edition, he has been working as a PR Guru, Investment Analyst, and also dabbles in Real Estate and Tech, where he runs his Real Estate business named Frodd Empire Properties and his PR brand named, Frodd Lifestyle Company.
