It’s been months since the incidence of the gruesome effect of Lagos traffic robbery increased even more. Each day, the situation increases and there’s yet to be a suitable solution to this disaster currently ongoing in several parts of Lagos.

Many actors, celebrities and popular Nigerian entertainers like Chidi Mokeme, Soberekon and many other everyday Nigerians have been on the receiving end of this traffic robbery situation.
The recent “almost victim” of the traffic robbery is actress Yvonne Jegede. The Nigerian actress took to Twitter to narrate how she escaped traffic robbery at about 9 pm on Thursday night at the Third Mainland Bridge.
She wrote, “last night at about 9 pm, one guy almost robbed me on 3rdMB. I was lucky the traffic moved a bit so I moved my car and then he took off.”
She also called for sanitisation of under the bridge of Oworonshoki, noting that it was where the attacker jumped out from.
She further advised her fans to stay safe as these robbers target people who are driving alone.
“Under the bridge at Oworonshoki needs to be sanitized. The guy jumped out from under the bridge. They target people driving alone. Be water guys,” she wrote.
The actress also shared the same tweet on her Instagram page where she added, “if you are driving alone in traffic, don’t drive on the fast lane (the last lane by your left), let your car be in between cars.
“Ladies escape Isolo, if you can, please stay wherever you are till you see daylight. There is hunger in town.”
