Alexander Abolore Adegbola Akande popularly known as 9ice AKA Alapomeji he is a Nigerian musician and politician, he was born on the 17th of January 1980.

He is from a polygamous home with five wives and nine children, in Ogbomosho, Oyo State in the Western part of Nigeria. 9ice recorded his first demo titled Risi de Alagbaja in 1996, but it was until the year 2000 that he released his first official solo song Little Money, the song was slightly accepted in Nigeria. In 2008, he released the single Gongo Aso, With the song gaining popularity and accepted all over the country, 9ice was invited to perform at the Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Tribute concert in London, the United Kingdom in June 2008 alongside other A-list artists. He then proceeded to claim the Best Hip Hop Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards.

Sometime in January 2014, 9ice announced his plans officially to run for political office in the 2015 elections as a House of Representatives member, representing the Ogbomoso North Constituency, Oyo state National Assembly.
