The now-popular brand has worked long and hard to establish itself within the highly competitive segment, where it’s now aptly positioned alongside the most famous premium logos out there. A few things make Audi’s cars stand out from the rest, though, such as the comparatively lower pricing of Audi’s cars against similar rivals.

The Types of Audi Vehicles
- Coupes and Convertibles: These are the sportiest and most lifestyle-centric Audi cars. They’re typically performance-oriented and are outfitted with a very driver-centric cabin, sporting the brand’s patented ‘virtual cockpit’ display. If you’re looking for a proficient Audi Series purposed for enjoyable and skilled driving without any compromise in ride quality and a luxurious cabin, this is the list to pick from.
- Sportbacks and Sedans: For an inconspicuously proficient type of Audi that’s designed with a classy, sophisticated philosophy, this is the list of models to peruse. These are for the leisure-seekers wanting to enjoy their daily commutes in complete and consistent comfort. The potent powertrains are there only to guarantee competent and congruous performance in all on-road conditions. The casual series’ lineup is perhaps the most reliable on offer from the manufacturer.
- SUVs and Wagons: SUVs and crossovers alike are the most popular types of motors in America. They’re the most versatile, practical, and well-rounded automobiles, and arguably some of the best Audi vehicles, too. They’re competent and capable on the road, so enthusiasts will enjoy them, and they’re compliant and comfortable, too, so casual drivers should be pleased as well. On top of those benefits, they’re impressively utilitarian, too, by virtue of their commodious interiors and expansive trunks.
The range is extensive and comprises a variety of different types of cars to meet just about every taste and need. So, without further ado, here’s the latest 2020/2021 Audi lineup.
2021 Audi RS5
Audi Sport is unveiling all the details for the new 2021 RS5 that sports all the updates of the facelifted A5 lineup. The main exterior changes are upfront with the new LED headlights and grille design along with the new LED taillights. Like the RS5 before, this version too gets the flared out fenders, RS style diffuser, large oval tailpipes, and more.
Inside is the new 10.1in MMI touch interface with wireless car play and android auto. There are also the RS modes available on the steering wheel. There are also new Black Optic and Ascari launch editions coming with just 25 coupes and 100 sport backs planned to be made. The Black optic version gets 20in black wheels, black exterior trim, roof, carbon accents, and more. The Ascari edition gets the Ascari Blue paint, carbon interior pack, and louder exhaust. Pricing for the 2021 RS5 Coupe comes in at 34.7 million naira ($75,100) and 35 million naira ($75,400) for the Sportback.
2021 Audi RS Q8-R
The RSQ8 seems to be a popular SUV to be tuned and essentially is a cheaper Urus! But ABT has given their limited and insane R treatment to the RSQ8 to create the RSQ8-R of which just 125 will be made to celebrate their 125th birthday. This model is the most extreme offering by ABT of the RSQ8 with exterior and performance mods. ⠀
2021 Audi A3
The all new Audi A3 sedan is confirmed for the US in its fourth generation with sharp new looks in all trims. The front end gets more characterful LED lights with a wider single frame grille, sharp side body lines, and a sculpted hood! Riding on the MQB Evo platform, the new A3 sedan is longer, wider, and more refined than ever! Even the rear taillights are more angular and aggressive. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
The interior is one of the most radical new designs, taking air vent shapes straight from the urus, a 10.25in virtual cockpit, new heads up display, a new 12.3in Audi Touch interface, and a new steering wheel. ALL models under 150HP will have a torsion beam rear suspension too, something Mazda did with their new Mazda 3 to cut costs. Pricing and other variants will be coming in the future.
2021 Audi Q5
The 2021 Audi Q5 will arrive car showrooms from September 2020 with the starting price of ₦17.2 million for the standard Q5, ₦20.5 million for the plug-in hybrid, and ₦30 million for the SQ5.
As in the previous model year, the standard Q5 comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. However, it now makes 261 horsepower, an increase of 13 hp over the outgoing model. The plug-in hybrid, also powered by the 2.0-liter but paired with an electric motor, gets the same increase in power, to 362 horses. Both models are paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The higher-performance SQ5 model is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 that spins up 349 horsepower and is equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It also comes standard with adaptive suspension and has optional air suspension, dynamic steering, and quad-tipped sport exhaust. The plug-in hybrid can be equipped with the adaptive air suspension with the optional Sport Plus package.
2021 Audi A5/S5
The A5 is a coupe, convertible, or five-door hatchback that looks great. It’s a blank canvas for personality and performance, which is the only thing the A5 has in common with plain paper.
This year, it gets a mild power upgrade for models equipped with a turbo-4, and the A5 Sportback (the hatchback, in Audi-speak) is more affordable with a lower-priced version.
2020 Audi TT
The Audi TT has come a long way since the tri-bubble Bauhaus design of the first generation; now riding on the VW MQB platform for the third generation it is entering its fifth market year of what could potentially be the last generation Audi TT to ever grace the world.
It may lose two seats along with the tin-top roof, but the MQB platform gives it exceptional rigidity, and the loss of the roof means you get a little more aural pleasure from the 228-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo engine. All-wheel-drive, stylish LED lighting, Audi’s world-class virtual cockpit, and a 0-60 mph sprint of just 5.5 seconds are all key weapons in the TT Roadster
2020 Audi Q3
The second-generation Audi Q3 recently went through a complete redesign, which resulted in a car that’s bigger and (arguably) better looking both inside and out, and comes with improved tech features. For 2020 the Audi Q3 remains mostly unchanged but Audi has changed the model designations from the ‘2.0T’ in previous year models to ’45 TFSI.’
2020 Audi Q7
The Q7 gets an extensive makeover, with some minor feature enhancements, too. It gets an all-new turbocharged V6 engine, increasing its power output by six horsepower and 44 lb-ft over previous years. The four-cylinder will carry over unchanged. Looks-wise, the crossover gets a revised grille with more aggressive LED headlights and taillights, a new front spoiler design, and new 19-inch wheels. Audi’s virtual cockpit is now a standard feature across the range along with the dual-touchscreen interface that comes with the Q8, while an MMI touch response system replaces the traditional rotary dials. A wireless charger is available as part of the Audi phone box on upper trim levels.
2020 Audi E-Tron
Audi has only announced updates for the European 2020 e-Tron, the company said those changes will eventually make their way to our market. That means the American version will have an updated battery pack that provides more driving range than it currently does. It also means we’re getting the e-Tron Sportback that features a fastback roofline.
Audi released pricing information for the 2020 E-Tron Sportback, a swoopier version of the standard E-Tron that inaugurates several powertrain improvements. The fastback-like model made its debut in late 2019.
2020 Audi Q8
Since the Audi Q8 was only just launched for 2019, the 2020 model requires little to keep it fresh and interesting. More safety equipment has been added to the Premium trim, with automatic high beams and lane departure warning thrown in. In addition, Audi’s enhanced digital display known as the virtual cockpit plus is also added. Other changes include the addition of an optional Black optic package with gloss black trim and 21-inch wheels. A couple of other appearance packages are also added, namely S line and S line Plus. More leather has also been added to Prestige models with the Luxury package to take the Q8 further upmarket.
2020 Audi SQ8
The Audi SQ8 was already offered in Europe, powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo diesel V8 with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. We knew there was no way Audi would offer the diesel here in the United States, but we assumed the US-spec SQ8 would use the same twin-turbo V6 found in the S6 and S7. As it turns out, we are happy to be wrong because the 2020 SQ8 is coming with eight cylinders.
