Lamborghini has reached an impressive milestone with its latest model, the Urus SE. Unveiled just six months ago, this hybrid version of the popular SUV has completely sold out its production run for 2025. Customers who are placing orders now will need to wait until 2026 to receive their vehicles, highlighting the strong demand for this new iteration. The Urus SE replaces both the standard Urus S and the Urus Performante, featuring remarkable specifications, including a 4.0-liter V8 plug-in hybrid engine that produces 789 horsepower, a 0-60 mph time of about 3.3 seconds, and a top speed of 193.9 mph.
This success is part of a wider trend of record-breaking performance for Lamborghini. The company has reported its best-ever first nine months of any year in terms of deliveries, revenue, and operating profit. With 8,411 units delivered, which represents an 8.6% increase from the previous year, Lamborghini’s revenue has surged to €2.43 billion (approximately $2.6 billion), reflecting a 20.1% jump compared to 2023. The operating profit has also reached a new high of €678 million (around $725 million), marking a 9.8% increase from last year.
Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini’s Chairman and CEO, attributes this success to an unprecedented chapter in the company’s history, characterized by the introduction of three new cars within just 18 months. This includes the fully hybridized range with the launch of the Lamborghini Temerario. Other models, such as the Revuelto and Temerario, are also witnessing high demand, with the Revuelto maintaining a two-year waiting list. Looking ahead to 2025, while no major developments in the model lineup are expected, Lamborghini fans can look forward to convertible versions of both the V12 Revuelto and the high-revving Temerario, as well as potential special editions and unique design schemes.
