South Pasadena has become the first city in the United States to transition its entire police patrol fleet to electric vehicles.
The fleet includes 20 Tesla Model Y and Model 3 vehicles, aimed at significantly reducing the city’s carbon footprint and operational costs. This initiative is part of a broader effort to combat air pollution in the Los Angeles area, which suffers from some of the worst air quality in the nation.
