2021 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition going for 36 million naira

 The long awaited Ram 1500 TRX is here and boy is it a beast, the TRX will go on sale later this year. The frame of the truck is actually stronger than a normal 1500 with tougher steel and rails that Ram says will allow for customers to jump and abuse the truck continuously, something the first-gen Raptor didn’t like. Of course, there will be a limited build Launch Edition, with just 702 being made, coming fully loaded at 36 million naira. This version gets an Anvil Gray exterior, unique graphics, wheels, and more.

Under the hood is the legendary hellcat 6.2L Supercharged V8 making that magic 702HP and 650 lb-ft of torque sent through an 8 speed gearbox to a heavy duty 4WD system, beefy control arms, shocks, suspension and a towing package that can tow around 8,100lbs. 0-60 happens in 4.5sec, 0-100 in 10.5sec, and the 1/4mile in 12.9sec.

Now let’s dive in more. The engine features a two path air intake system using the ram air hood. Additionally, there is a 6in track with 8in wider composite fenders with functional vents to fit the large 35in tires measuring 325/65. Ram has also fitted beefy Bilstein Blackhawk E2 adaptive shocks with remote reservoirs, a custom rear suspension with hard mounting points, 11.8in of ground clearance, 13in front and 14in of rear suspension travel, and can go 32in in water. The interior too is all fancy now with unique buttons, a red theme, and optional leather/suede ventilated seats. There are also custom performance pages for the massive UConnect screen and center screen with literally everything from gauges to shift and launch settings, off road modes like Baja, wet/ snow… etc, jump detection, 5 underbody skid plates and SO MUCH MORE!
