In a new study by scientists, men were tricked into thinking their member was either bigger or smaller than it really is.
It also found that people who thought their gearstick was average or smaller than average were more likely to want to buy a fancy sports car.
The study was done by researchers at the University College London. They found that men “look for ways to make up for their less desirable primary sexual characteristic.”
They said, “Maybe there’s just something about men that makes them like cars and penises.”
The team said that demand for sports cars might be “driven by feelings of genital inadequacy,” but the “luxury automotive industry may be unwilling to acknowledge this link.”
As part of the study, 200 men between the ages of 18 and 74 were given false information about how big the average manhood is. They were then shown pictures of fast cars and asked how much they wanted to pay for them.
One of the statements was wrong when it said that the average size of a man’s penis is 7.1 inches. In reality, the average size is 5.1 inches.
The people who took the test were told that these were facts and that the point of the test was to find out “how people remember facts while shopping for products.”
Men under 30 who thought their penises were smaller than average liked sports cars more.
As people get older, those who thought they had a bigger penis become less interested in luxury cars.
But the younger men still liked them, no matter how old they were, and this might have something to do with how they felt about themselves.
Greta Thunberg, a climate activist, made a joke about Andrew Tate’s small manhood after he made her angry by bragging that he owned 33 sports cars. This led to the research.
