It was recorded that the iconic British Sports brand, Aston Martin, sold 6,182 cars in 2021, an 82% sales growth helped by high demand for DBX SUV. The company said it sold 3,001 units of its DBX that same year, taking an estimated 20% share of the luxury SUV market. SUV markets usually include bestselling models likes the Range Rover, Bentley Bentayga and Rolls-Royce Cullinan, so it is usually quite a tough one but it would miss its annual profit target by about £15m after delivering just 10 of £2.5m Valkyries to customers.
