2021 Rolls-Royce Cullinan
Starting Price: ₦191.3 million – ₦260 million
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is a full-sized luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) produced by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The Cullinan is the first SUV to be launched by the Rolls-Royce marque and is also the brand’s first all-wheel-drive vehicle. For the 2021 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Rolls-Royce hasn’t made any significant changes to the Cullinan. We also haven’t heard anything more about the all-electric model that was rumored back when the SUV debuted.
The Cullinan’s twin-turbo 6.7-liter V-12 provides 563 horsepower and is whisper quiet, lest it disturb the VIPs in the cabin. In our testing, we recorded a 60-mph time of just 4.5 seconds—impressive for a vehicle that weighs about three tons.
2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost
Starting Price (MSRP): ₦151.2 million – $315,000
Meet the all-new Rolls-Royce Ghost, the second generation of the British Rolls-Royce Motor Cars whose parent company is BMW the most successful automaker. The Rolls-Royce Ghost is a full-sized luxury car manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The “Ghost” nameplate, named in honour of the Silver Ghost, a car first produced in 1906, was announced in April 2009 at the Auto Shanghai show.
Despite its massive overhaul for 2021, the Ghost is powered by a familiar engine. Under the sedan’s long hood is a 563-hp 6.7-liter V-12 that is shared with the Cullinan SUV. An eight-speed automatic handles shifting duties, and all-wheel drive is standard. According to Rolls-Royce, the 2021 Ghost is capable of hitting 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds, and we’re looking forward to verifying that claim at our test track.
2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith
Starting Price (MSRP): ₦164.8 million – $343,350
The 2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith offers the utmost in luxury and comfort. All models of this dramatically styled coupe come with a 624-hp V-12 engine, rear-hinged doors, and the signature Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament. Beyond that, buyers can customize their chariots in all sorts of ways, making their Wraiths into commissioned works of art. And much like commissioned works of art, the pride of ownership is steep. But you probably already guessed as much. It’s a Rolls-Royce, after all.
The Wraith’s prodigious twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V-12 produces 624 horsepower and 605 pound-feet of torque and mates with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Exclusively a rear-driver, this Rolls-Royce delivers handling that’s poised and controlled. Its steering is lightly weighted, and its air suspension is calibrated to prevent bumps and jolts from jostling the car’s passengers.
2020 Rolls-Royce Phantom
Starting Price (MSRP): ₦218.4 million – $455,000
The latest version of Rolls-Royce’s flagship retains the fine craftsmanship of the outgoing Phantom but introduces newer technology to the mix. Below the evolutionary exterior styling, the Phantom introduces a new all-aluminum space-frame architecture, making it 30 per cent more rigid than the previous model. Whereas the previous model used a naturally aspirated V12, the Phantom now utilizes a 6.75-liter V12 with twin turbochargers. The latest driver-assist technologies are also available, such as lane departure warning, pedestrian warning, and adaptive cruise control. Inside, larger colour displays are a further modern addition, sitting comfortably alongside Rolls-Royce’s time-honoured use of upscale materials.
An interior tailored for kings can be adorned with a custom-artwork dash. Acres of wood, real metal accents, and vast expanses of supple leather cover nearly every square inch of the cabin. Rolls-Royce offers both a standard- and long-wheelbase version of the Phantom, the latter being 8.6 inches longer, much of which is results in additional rear-seat legroom. Rear-hinged coach doors open to allow graceful ingress and egress to the rear seat where passengers can be treated to a myriad of luxuries such as deep-pile carpeted floor mats, power-adjustable seats with massage, a refrigerated console compartment, and remote controls for the car’s infotainment system.
