Lexus recently announced some updates to the NX lineup in Japan. These updates include a new trim that matches the new GX Overtrail+. This new edition has some exciting features, such as 18-inch black wheels with all-terrain rubber, 0.6 inches more ground clearance, and a new Overtrain-specific adaptive variable suspension system. The car also has black accents all around and new wood interior trim.

The NX is a versatile car with four different engine options. The NX250 has a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine producing 203HP and 184 lb-ft of torque. It is available in FWD or AWD. The NX350 has a 2.4L Turbo 4-cylinder engine producing 275HP and 317 lb-ft of torque. The NX350h has a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor producing 239HP and 36MPG.
Finally, there is the all-new NX450h+ with the same 2.5L 4-cylinder engine and a larger electric powertrain. Although limited information is available on this version, we know that it can go from 0-60 mph in six seconds, has a range of 36 miles on electric power, and is a PHEV.
The 2024 NX also has other improvements, including:
- 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires
- 15 mm (0.6 inches) increase in ground clearance
- Reduced engine noise
- Better body rigidity
- Suspension tuning
- Braces to support the rear body formation
- Refined suspension tuning
- High level of ride comfort
The NX lineup is also getting more changes like a retuned suspension, more body and chassis bracing, and an improved Trail mode for all AWD models. NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) material has also been added to reduce cabin noise. Additionally, Lexus is introducing Sonic Copper paint and a new Hazel interior option.
