The Escalade V. It’s an experience that not only can you put a price on, but one you and your ears will never forget. As tested, this V is $152,295 and sports the Auburn/Black interior, the 20th-anniversary V-Package, and that monster V8 under the hood. While the 6.2L monster (built by Courtney Hughes) largely steals the show, the immense luxury of the Escalade still shines (even before the facelift later this year).

The Escalade steams into 2024 with no major changes. And no minor changes, either. Presumably, Cadillac is concentrating its efforts on the already announced electric version, the Escalade iQ, which is slated to arrive sometime this year.

HIGHS:
- The exhaust noise, engine response, and burbles (somehow street-legal) are truly out of this world, heck it would embarrass an F-Type R’s exhaust note.
- The interior is a luxury condo experience with couch-like seats, smooth adaptive air suspension, and a very functional centre refrigerator
- Understated yet sleek looks will keep unwanted eyes off you and your raucous exhaust note.
LOWS:
- Interior tech needs some work (thankfully will be overhauled later in 2024)
- The price is very very high for really just an engine option, but this is an irrational purchase so I doesn’t matter. (The exhaust and engine will sell alone)
- 36 Speaker AKG Audio could provide crisper and clearer audio with more adjustability.
