The truck was introduced to the market in 1999 by the Japanese automobile manufacturer, Toyota. Ever since it was introduced, it has done incredibly well in the market. Now, Toyota has added new upgrades and features to make this truck even more appealing to its consumers. When Toyota redesigned its full-size Tundra pickup for 2022 after fourteen years of selling the same basic model, it opted for evolution rather than revolution. It doesn’t change the big-pickup status quo though it also doesn’t follow the domestic pickup truck blueprint exactly. For one thing, it’s the only full-size pickup in the half-ton segment without an optional V-8 engine.
2023 Toyota Tundra Exterior
The exterior of the 2023 Toyota Tundra features a18-inch dark grey alloy wheels that play well against black elements in the door handles and the rear inboard bumper. The door badges are removed, while the 4×4 badge on the tailgate gets the blackout treatment, too. Inside, black accents replace dark silver trim. It’s available on SR5 trims in either 4×2 or 4×4, and it can be in one of four colours: white, grey, silver or black.
Since the Tundra is but a year old, nothing else changes.

2023 Toyota Tundra Interior
Inside, the Tundra has a chunky dashboard that’s dotted with prominent air vents and a thick, smooth centre section that connects the door panels. The materials used on the centre console, dash, and doors are much nicer than what was used in the previous generation. Of course, the quality also increases with the trim levels, with the top-of-the-line 1794 Edition sporting attractive wood accents. All models have a versatile centre console with lots of cubby storage and a huge centre bin
While an 8.0-inch touchscreen is a standard in the Tundra, it can be upgraded with a horizontally oriented 14.0-inch touchscreen that trumps what’s offered in all other trucks. It features a useful volume knob as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but there’s no tuning knob and the controls on the steering wheel have limited functionality. A subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot is also offered.
2023 Toyota Tundra Trims
The 2023 Tundra is available in nine trims: SR, SR5, Limited, Limited Hybrid, Platinum, 1794 Edition, Platinum Hybrid, TRD Pro Hybrid, and Capstone Hybrid.
