The all-new Range Rover is here, and it’s as sumptuous as ever. The latest Range Rover has been on the market since 2012, and here is a great update on the new JLR MLA design, which supports gas, diesel, PHEV, and full EV powertrains.

Land Rover, like the 911, opted for an evolutionary rather than revolutionary design. The grille is a thinner and longer shape with better integrated LED lights and a cleaner lower bumper design, though the front is a fairly recognizable appearance. The side profile now includes flush door handles, a long body line, and a roofline that is identical to the front profile.

The back features some daring alterations, including narrow LED lighting, dual roof-mounted shark fin antennae, and a very stately, modern, and clean take that will undoubtedly irritate purists, but I think it looks unique! ⠀⠀

There are several new powertrains under the hood: The P400, a mild-hybrid 3.0L Inline-6 turbo with 395HP and 406 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60 time of 5.5 seconds, will go up first. Then there’s the new P530, which has a BMW 4.4L TT V8 with 523HP and 553 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds. Other markets will receive diesel. There will be two PHEV variants with the Inline 6 and a 38.2kWh battery with up to 50-62 miles of EV range, and a complete EV will be available in 2024. The combined power output of the P510e PHEV is 503HP. All-wheel drive is standard.⠀⠀⠀
