The Accord is Honda’s five-seat mid-size family sedan. Now in its 10th generation, the front-wheel-drive Accord comes with a standard 192-horsepower, turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine or an available 252-hp, turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder. A six-speed manual transmission is available for both engines. The 1.5-litre engine can also work with a continuously variable automatic transmission while the 2.0-litre engine can pair with a 10-speed automatic.

The 10th-generation Accord was a winner out of the gate in 2018, making us fall in love with Honda’s midsize sedan all over again. There are no changes for the 2020 model, but that’s hardly a bad thing. As it stands, the Accord is stylish and comfortable, and it hits big with utility.

Honda Accord models
The 2020 Honda Accord is sold in five trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring. The LX is the most affordable model but is still reasonably well-equipped. The Sport doesn’t cost much more and comes with some visual upgrades, while the EX and the EX-L add more convenient features. The top-trim Touring loads up with every feature available.
Buying Brand New or Used Honda Accord?
The 2020 Accord belongs to a generation that began with a redesign for the 2018 model year. You should buy a 2020 model if you really want to buy new, but you could save money on a nearly identical 2018 or 2019 Accord, as there have been no major changes since the redesign.
You might be able to save even more money with a previous-generation Accord, but you’d miss out on the major updates from the redesign, including a larger trunk, more standard safety features, and improved fuel economy (30/38 mpg city/highway versus 27/36 mpg).
